Emons news about Saterland and Uhrsleben

On 19.11.2024, the purchase contract for a plot of almost four hectares in the C-port coastal canal in Saterland/Sedelsberg was signed. A cutting-edge freight forwarding facility is planned there, which should be connected to the network in 2027. It will replace the current location in Saterland-Strücklingen, where we have reached capacity limits. In the medium term, 200 jobs will be created locally. The location in the port also opens up new opportunities for us. Containers from the Seaports of Rotterdam and Bremerhaven can be landed directly at c-Port by Barge. We are thus continuing our growth strategy in northern Germany.

There is also something new at the Uhrsleben site. The general cargo handling facility near Magdeburg was expanded to 6,500 m². After the building extension has been completed just in time, the first groupage will be received by CargoLine on the night of 29/30/11/2024.
