Emons Brno moves to a new plant

Emons is moving to a newly built plant at its Brno site on 01.08.2020. Blučina is conveniently located just 15 km from the previous warehouse, on the D2 motorway towards Bratislava. A total of 4,500 m² of space is now available for freight forwarding of general goods and for logistics activities. 2,000 m² is accounted for by a modular high-rack system with a height of 9.5 m. The flexible shelves from a German quality manufacturer are already being used successfully at several Emons logistics locations. The warehouse is equipped with ten gates, an additional seven-meter wide covered gate for long goods and an access ramp. Approximately 350 m² of office space is available for administration.

With this plant, Emons is setting new standards in the Czech Republic. The hall and thus all goods are monitored non-stop using camera and centralized security systems. Large ceiling windows let in daylight, which saves a lot of energy. The asphalted traffic areas offer sufficient space. Even to dock the long Gigaliner, which serves Blučina as part of regular services, on a train.

The logistics warehouse is partly occupied by existing business and still offers space for new customers. There is also the option to increase the storage space by an additional 3,700 m².
