Sustainable rail transport with Emons Rail Cargo
As early as 2006, Emons set an example for combined freight transport with its first own container train. Since 2010, we have been bundling our activities in the area of rail transport with the founding of Emons Rail Cargo GmbH. Objective: An efficient, environmentally friendly logistics solution for the future.
From our location in Dresden, we coordinate all rail traffic and develop innovative concepts for CO₂-reduced transport chains. The fact is: The transfer of goods from road to rail results in a significant reduction in exhaust gas and noise emissions per loading unit.
As a founding member of Kombiverkehr GmbH & Co. KG, we are actively committed to shifting transport to rail — in terms of sustainable logistics and environmental responsibility.
