Strategic expansion with own network in Spain and Portugal
Cologne, March 5, 2026 — The Emons Group is consistently continuing its growth path in Europe and acquires Pall-Ex Iberia. The acquisition marks an important strategic step for expanding Emons' European network structures. The takeover gives the company a comprehensive network with a central hub structure and strong regional partner depots in one of Europe's most important logistics markets. At the same time, the connection of the Iberian Peninsula to the European Emons system will be significantly strengthened.
With the founding of Emons Logistics España in September 2025, the basis for an own operational presence in Spain was created. The acquisition of Pall-Ex Iberia is the next logical step in the company's internationalization strategy.
“Integrating an established network in Spain and Portugal into our group opens up new opportunities for us in European land transport and creates tangible added value for our customers,” explains Ralf Wieland, CEO of the Emons Group.
Arne Lingemann, Managing Director Road Freight International at Emons, underlines the strategic importance: “With Pall-Ex Iberia, we are gaining additional capacity and a fully developed network with a high level of regional market coverage. This is an important step for our international land transport and a lasting strengthening of our European system. ”
Pall-Ex Iberia will continue to operate as an independent network within the Emons Group. The existing partner structures and business relationships remain unchanged.
