From March 1, 2026, the Urmitz/Koblenz branch is officially a system partner in the online system logistics (OSL) general cargo network — another strong step in the network strategy of Emons freight forwarding.

Urmitz site as a logistical hub

The Emons site in Urmitz is strategically located in the Rhine-Moselle area near Koblenz and plays an important role in the region's general cargo and transport network. The new OSL Partnership wants to further expand the network's performance — with clear benefits for customers and partners.

What does the OSL Partnership mean?

With integration into the OSL general cargo network, companies benefit from:

· Direct loading quotas via OSL hubs

· Predictable delivery times for national and international general cargo shipments

· High network availability through a comprehensive partner network

Urmitz thus ideally complements the OSL partner network and further expands Emons' presence in the German general cargo segment.

The Emons site in Erfurt has been active in the network as an OSL partner since 2015. With the addition of Urmitz, the system gains additional capacity, flexibility and regional strength.

Focus on general cargo logistics

General Cargo Transportation is a central component of modern logistics solutions, efficient, reliable and with fixed delivery times. The OSL Partnership makes processing even more transparent, faster and more predictable for customers.

Outlook

With the new OSL system partner status, Emons is once again underlining its position as a reliable logistics partner in the national and European general cargo network. The branch in Urmitz actively contributes to optimally serving regional transport requirements and at the same time further increasing customer service, network performance and quality.
